Laboratorio de Práctica Social

Este es un proyecto que ha logrado involucrar a estudiantes y miembros de la Facultad de Artes con su comunidad. Hemos tenido talleres y trabajo en colaboración con centros de atención a las adicciones y escuelas locales.
Los objetivos principales del Laboratorio de Práctica Social son:
- Contribuir a la formación de nuevas generaciones de artistas e intelectuales de la localidad, conscientes de su papel en la comunidad y la dimensión social de las artes.
- Proponer un discurso político desde el arte, explorando la relación entre el arte y el contexto.
- La adopción de modelos pedagógicos para otras actividades que complementan la discusión en los espacios institucionales sobre el papel del arte en la sociedad actual.

This is a project that has managed to involve students and members of the Faculty of Arts with their community. We have had workshops and collaborative work with addiction centers and local schools.
The main objectives of the Social Practice Lab are:
- Contribute to the formation of new generations of local artists and intellectuals, aware of their role in the community and the social dimension of the arts.
- To propose a political discourse from the territory of art, exploring the relationship between art and context.
- The adoption of pedagogical models for other activities that complement the discussion in institutional spaces on the role of art in today's society.
