Land of Plenty

El llamado sueño americano, un ideal que muchos migrantes aspiran a alcanzar y convertir en realidad, cuando sus condiciones contextuales no encajan con sus objetivos, aspiraciones y sueños. La imagen del centro parece destinada a unir las otras dos: la naturaleza y el asentamiento humano, como si una fuerza invisible los atrajera a las profundidades de un sueño lejano.
Las imágenes del extremo inferior y superior fueron tomadas en el municipio de Ensenada. Las centrales provienen de cámaras de vigilancia hackeadas, instaladas dentro de los EE.UU.

The so-called American dream, an ideal that many migrants aspire to achieve and turn into a reality, when their contextual conditions do not match their goals, aspirations and dreams. The image in the center seems destined to unite the other two: nature and human settlement, as if an invisible force were drawing them into the depths of a distant dream.
The bottom and top images were taken in the municipality of Ensenada Mexico. The central images come from hacked surveillance cameras installed inside the USA.
